2020 JL Rubicon-rough idle was present from the day i bought the JL new. Never had any luck with dealer maintenance or replacements. The job took 3 hrs to teardown and 2 hrs to reassemble. Including alternate battery replacement, oil change, and air filter replacement. Instructions were exact and very helpful. Possible improvement to instructions. Take old coil pack and remove old spark plug boot. Use the boot to remove plugs and start threading new plugs.
Rough idle completely gone.

Excellent addition to my Jeep Gladiator build. Noticeably more responsive throughout the entire rpm range. Improved gas mileage when driving on my commute. Ripped customer service has been great and responsive to my questions. Ripped Ignition Coils are a must have when showing off the engine bay!

These coil packs brought my Jeep back to life. Have 80k miles on my JL. It hasn’t ran like this ever. Full power from idle to redline. Only took about 3 hrs or so to install. I also installed new spark plugs and cleaned EGR good while in there.

I first noticed a better throttle response and my fuel mileage has never been this good. These coils look amazingly good on the engine.

Should of did this up grade as soon as warranty expired. Steady pull from 30 - 80 mph, scary fast! Great product I would recommend these coil paks!

Jeep Gladiator is running better than ever! I personally feel MPG has inreased. On my original order, i may have mixed up order but part that arrived was for JK and I needed for JT. Chris was able to fix and ship new parts ASAP. Had correct part two days later and everything fit perfectly!!

Just had them installed today along with cold air intake. Runs Damm good . Thank you for a good product. Gears will start tomorrow so I am excited to see how it all runs hand in hand with everything

Pretty easy to install just takes time. Set aside a few hours if you haven't taken the intake off before. Also make sure you have ratchet extensions, a swivel head, and a torque wrench. The torque setting for the bolts are on the top of the intake just FYI.
Ok so i have a 2020 manual JLUR with a high clearance exhaust along with a two and a half inch lift sitting on 37's and a number of other upgrades. This is the first engine modification I have done, and can really tell the difference. The acceleration is much better and the dead spots while rowing through the gears are gone. It no longer feels like Jeep intentionally geared the vehicle to save gas if that makes sense.
This is not my daily driver, however when I do drive this to work i find myself downshifting often while driving up the interstate. I did not downshift once on the way to work (40+miles) after install. Saying this, do not be disappointed when you don't see massive horsepower gains and instantly smoking the tires. That takes a little more than a couple hundred bucks. Overall i am happy with my purchase and believe it is well worth the money.

Just an FYI to anyone wondering, these WILL fit the 2020 Ram 1500 5th Gen Pentastar with eTorque. I installed them today, took me about 4 hours. Haven't really had a chance to test them out but took a small drive and could noticeably feel more power in the lower RPM's. Just have to wait and see how it effects fuel economy. Thank you RIPP for the awesome product!

I had 16 mpg and now increase to 19 mpg I love that coils

I can tell you for sure you notice an increase in power especially at the lower end rpms. The JT always felt sluggish with the 3.6L. I added an exhaust and air intake, but still felt sluggish. After adding in the coil packs that sluggish feeling is gone. I am very impressed by this product and would recommend it. Now the install is a pain. Not extremely difficult, but lots have to be removed off the engine. This is not a knock on RIPP, but more on FCA. FCA did a poor job on placement of coil packs and really the design of the 3.6L. It is not a friendly engine to work on. I will never question the dealer when it comes time to replace the spark plugs and they say hours. LOL. The whole job took me close to 5 hours, but that time includes looking for two dropped bolts and a socket attachment in the engine. Would be easier if you have a second set of hands to help. Overall RIPP created an awesome product and I am happy with the purchase.

The car's performance is stronger when starting off and the difference is noticeable

Hats off to the RIPP team! Installed a supercharger on my 2020 Gladiator. From the initial email I sent inquiring about the SC, ordering, receiving, and throughout the process of installation and programming the team was always available and very responsive...as you would expect from a first class company. All questions and issues (not really anything big) were quickly answered and resolved. My installer was very impressed with the easy install. He noted the quality of the product and parts were exceptional. Everything is tight and well thought out. Having dealt with other brands in the past, he praised RIPP for being the "cutting edge" in design and performance. I recently bought and installed the COIL PACKS and the same friendly quick service was ...well, as expected. Thanks again for a pleasurable experience.

They definitely add some pep to the step and is especially noticeable down low and off the start on my JT and I'm rocking a 3.5" lift with 37" tires and bigger axles. The transmission seems to be smoother/crisper like when before you build them out and add tons of weight to the rig. Not a difficult install but tedious non the less. I removed the coolant reservoir, 2-10mm nuts, and zip tied it out of the way to make access to the EGR tube bracket nuts easier. As long as you have a standard and deep set metric socket set, some extensions and a swivel that's all you need. Also I used a 1/4" drive as its a tight fit and that will make it much easier than using a 3/8" drive. Ratcheting wrenches will also make removing the EGR tube easier but not required. My MPG increased during the 30 minute test drive by .3 and I was goosing practically the whole time so I'm sure when driven like normal it will improve even more. Definitely worth the investment!

Very peppy off the line and you can feel the response in the skinny paddle at any speed.

Fun install and noticable power band change. Should have and will be ordering a catch can after seeing how much oil was in my intake plenum.

Product is wonderful, the installation instructions need improvement better images and more details.

Pretty straight forward. I can tell it has a little more pickup from stand still. Pain in the ass to install, took me about three hours, but not difficult.

I love these coil packs!! Great fuel saver, but I’m a little confused about why these cool packs are for both a Gladiator and a 2016+ Grand Cherokee at $299 but if you look at the coil packs listed for a 2016+ Grand Cherokee, the Gladiator is not listed as a vehicle they fit and the coils are $10 less? Does one fit both vehicles and the other only fit one?

I am not seeing a notable HP increase but I am seeing my mileage increase. My start-stop function works, so that a definite plus. Would buy again if for only the milage bump.

I've been driving with these a few weeks now in my 2018 Jeep JL and I'm really impressed. Better throttle response and the flat spot when cold is gone too. Gas mileage is creeping up now that I've kept my foot out it. Lol. Since it does have more power, especially in the lower RPM range, it doesn't need to downshift to like it did before to get up to speed or maintain my speed on my normal route to and from work. Also doesn't downshift as much when going through the mountains either. That was the real test. You need to remove the intake manifold to get to the left bank but it's very easy work. The right bank is free and clear so only takes minutes to install. Overall, I would say that this was a good buy and would recommend to all with a Jeep JL.

so I got my package extremely fast so thanks for that!! I installed them which was an adventure lol. I took the JT (37's on 2" lift 4.10 Gearing) for a 240mi round trip drive HWY 75 with an AVG speed of 65-80mph. Normally I would be around 16mpg may 16.5. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw I got as high as 18.3 and it eventually avg out at the end of the trip to 17.8!
When it comes to power, the throttle response down low is without a doubt felt. You would be lying if you say you don't feel the difference on take off. Only thing I'm not sure of ff its a placebo effect but my JT stayed in 8th gear much longer and frequently than before. Not sure if they even correlate but i'll take it :P
David R.
Not too many miles yet but I would swear my Jeep JL idles more smoothly and it definitely feels like it pulls stronger when accelerating.
