 1) What does the RIPP Supercharger kit include?
All RIPP Supercharger systems come equipped with larger plug and play injectors (if required), a plug and play MAP sensor and a plug and play tune through a DiabloSport Programmer. This combined with a 6-8 hour install on most systems and pricing as low as $5299.95 - makes RIPP the best choice for your vehicle hands down. All kits come with all the necessary components with everything you need to safely install and run your vehicle.

2) Will it affect my engine in a negative way?
With well over 5000 kits sold worldwide and over 300,000 miles of collective data logging the short answer is no (providing the system is correctly installed).  RIPP has taken every precaution to ensure that your engine is running within safe parameters. RIPP does not squeeze every last bit the engine can take and is rather conservative in its approach from hardware to tuning. That's why we are so popular among the Jeep enthusiast, they know they can rely on our engineering and reputable name. Secondly, consider that simple Google searches yield personal end user write-ups on our products from install to towing to daily driving. The RIPP Brand has a reputation our competitors wish they could buy through marketing.

3) Does it really deliver better gas mileage?
Yes - simply because we take advantage of both the extra air the supercharger provides as well as the boost. By properly programming the engine and transmission via the pre-programmed Diablosport tuner, we've been are able to extract a more efficient fuel and timing mapping, yielding better MPG. In short you won't lose MPG (but it does depend how nice you are with the skinny pedal). Additionally the Vortech V3si Trim supercharger is simply more efficient to turn that the competitors, which means it takes less crank HP to make more Wheel HP. Typically clients will find 1 to 4 more MPG - BUT they will be able to cruise at highway speed and get around slower traffic.

4) Will it void my warranty?
The short answer is yes - however many dealers who have seen our system will call and actually become dealer/installers. Though warranty varies from dealer to dealer your expectations should be set going in - if a dealer is not performance friendly, something as simple as a head light replacement will "void" your warranty. Try to gauge this beforehand and reference our Dealer List first, you'll find a authorized RIPP dealer near you for sure.

5) Does it need tuning when I first receive it?
Most systems come with preinstalled calibrations that are ready to gou out of the box. (ie. 2007 - 2016 Jeep Wrangler) however, certain vehicles may require further dyno tuning as specified in the description of the product. All the RIPP Supercharger kits come with a Diablosport tuner computer tuner which is pre-programmed with proper basemap or full calibration. We pride ourselves on our thoroughness; we know our clients can drive 2000 miles from home to go 100 miles into the middle of nowhere. Our engine mapping has been tested up to 14000 feet of altitude, 20+ below zero and 130+ degrees in the desert. We've tuned while towing loads heavier than the Jeep is rated for as well and tires and axles that make any pure Jeeper Jealous.  Please reference the Dealer List first and ask them first - they are the best source outside of RIPP for info like this.
