Upgrade to a magnet drain plug NOW!
Your oil filter isn’t catching everything. Factory systems in V6, V8, and HEMI Mopar platforms do not include magnetic debris filtration, leaving micro-metal particles to circulate through your engine. The RIPP Magnetic Drain Plug solves this. Built from 6063 aircraft-grade aluminum and equipped with a 12mm tall high-strength neodymium magnet, this plug traps ferrous contaminants before they can scar cylinder walls, bearings, or valvetrain components.
Why This Matters:
Most Mopar engines (even performance variants) do not come with magnetic drain plugs or oil pan filtration. Fine metal particles left behind by normal wear can circulate endlessly — leading to premature internal wear and hidden damage.
This plug gives you an extra layer of real-world engine protection, especially for high-output builds, daily-driven V6s, and long-mileage platforms.

This is great oil pan bolt. It fit my 2023 Dodge Durango perfectly (M14).

Fits good
I ordered one of these last year in a separate order, fits and seems to work - fine - ordered a second one for another Jeep, Jul 6, 2026 and never got it. I ordered two items , this and the coil packs - Got the coil packs - but no drain plug - Lesson learned ? Only order one thing at a time - or the packers will screw you over.
Terrible quality magnet literally broke off threads were terrible. I paid 30$ for a cool box really. What a joke. Dont buy waste of money

Very nice looking for a drain plug. I am not sure if I like it in made of aluminum. The holes for safety wire is nice, Nothing to wire it to but still nice.

Magnetic plug was just installed Friday at the dealership. I haven't had time to review the effectiveness, and won't know until next oil change. If it was made in USA, I'd give it a 5-star. But, I really need to wait on next oil change to properly review the plug. THANKS for the veteran T-shirt!
