RIPP Technical information about cylinder flame speed and how an upgraded ignition system will directly effect power.
An Internal combustion engine's "flame speed" refers to the rate at which the air-fuel mixture burns during the combustion process. This speed significantly impacts engine performance and efficiency. The faster flame speed will increase cylinder pressure. When a spark is hotter, it ignites the air-fuel mixture more rapidly, leading to faster combustion, and an increase in pressure. Higher cylinder pressure = more torque pushing down on the piston.
Flame front propagation speed: As the flame front propagates faster across the combustion chamber, the fuel burns more efficiently, releasing more energy. This, in turn, enhances the engine's power and responsiveness. Additionally, with a faster flame speed, the combustion process is completed sooner, reducing the chance of incomplete burn or unburned hydrocarbons being released into the exhaust gases. In summary, optimizing the flame speed by utilizing more spark energy can significantly improve engine performance. It enables the engine to operate more efficiently, delivering increased power output, improved fuel economy.

These fit my 2026 civic si with no modifications.
Connectors had different shaped edges on them from the black clips, had to shove them on for them to fit. But it all worked out in the end, it’s just plastic.

Store owner replied: Thank you for pointing this out - we've come across this is the field just a hand full of times. There is actually no method or production notes on this particular clip difference. We've check this several times with OE parts and haven't been able to nail it down. We have put instructions in place should it come up again. Rest assured we are working to correct this at a manufacturing level.
Didnt believe the difference would be noticable on a tuned 460whp fk8 with aftermarket turbo and full bolt-ons. but wow it feels like the engine just refreshed itself. Yet to dyno it so will be interested to see the difference.

Great part of the car you definitely fell the low RPM power as well the increase of high RPM power being at 8000RPM=13whp added just make sure to check you 3 pin connection and your upper or lower safety pin on side of 3 pin connection in case you run into a problem shave off the plastic side tabs on coil 👍

Fast shipping!! maybe 3-4 days before I received these in the mail. As for installation, these were a walk in the park to install. 10 minutes tops to change out factory plugs to these ones. As far as performance goes, These RIPP high performance coil packs speak for themselves. Awesome product!!

Might be a 2021 Honda CRV-EXL. Might be a tiny little 1.5 Liter Turbo. These coils always deliver and make a tremendous difference! Gas mileage is up, power is better, torque is better. Ripp makes a quality product and you will not be disappointed at all! It is very cool to do an upgrade like this in less than 10min, and feel the difference.
